- What does Perfectly Suited mean?
We will design a gift that will perfectly suit the wants of the recipient and the needs of your budget. After having a personal conversation with you, we can better determine what type of gift you are looking for. - Do you have a catalog?
We have never created a catalog because each one of our gift baskets is unique. We can do multiples upon request. - How does your pricing work?
You tell us what you would like to spend and we will create a unique customized gift around that budget. - Where do you ship to?
We deliver locally in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. We ship anywhere in the continental U.S. We do not ship outside the U.S. because the cost to our customers is too high. However, we do have referrals to Jerusalem and Toronto if you are interested. - Can I get same day local delivery?
If you order by 11 a.m. PST, you can usually get same day local delivery depending on the complexity of your order. We will make every effort to accommodate you. Fridays and Erev Yom Tov will be an exception. - Who gives your hashgacha (kosher certification)?
Rabbi Aharon Simkin
Rabbi Aharon Simkin, is the Senior Rabbinic Coordinator of the Industrial Division of Kehilla Kosher/ Igud Hakashrus (Heart K and California K). He has an extensive background in kosher supervision having previously served as West Coast Regional Rabbinic Coordinator for the Orthodox Union (OU) and prior to that as the West Coast Regional Coordinator for Kof -K kosher supervision. He was the Administrator of the Vaad Ha-Ir of Los Angeles. and also served the community for 19 years as Rav of the Young Israel of Northridge where he is now Rabbi Emeritus. He currently splits his time between Israel and the West Coast.
In addition to his work for Kehilla Kosher, Rabbi Simkin is the Rav haMachshir of Touro University California. He continues to provide his personal kosher certification to Unique Pastry Bakery and Cafe in Tarzana and various other companies in California and around the world such as Perfectly Suited.
Rabbi Simkin was a member of YULA's Kollel. He received his smicha from Yeshivat Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanon (REITS) and is one of the last talmidim to have had the honor of learning with The Rav, Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik z''l
- Can I track my order?
If we are shipping your order (usually through USPS), and we have your e-mail address, we can send you the package tracking number and you will be able to track your package. - Do we order on line?
a. No. Because each of our products are designed and created individually, it is necessary for us to discuss each order with you personally. - Can we pay on line?
After you have placed the order over the phone, you can pay online through our website, just press the Pay Online tab on the left side of the Home page. - Do you put anything else besides food in your baskets?
We always put an assortment of goodies, dried fruits, chocolate, nuts etc. into the gifts as per your instructions. We can do parve only, cholov yisroel only and any other request if possible. We can include an array of gifts items from home décor to baby items, serving pieces, and fresh flowers. In the past per our customer's requests, we have included fresh corned beef, keys to a brand new car and an engagement ring. The choice is yours. - What do you mean by "Simcha Support"?
We are available to work with you and along with your coordinator to do computer calligraphy for your invitations.
We do satin and organza aufruf bags with your choice of fruit gems, taffy, almonds & raisins.
We do candy favors for your guests, such as personalized mint boxes, small boxes to match your event with matching candies. Ask us about our mini tefillin bags & boxes.
We have designed a Vanity Valet for use in your event venue for your guests in case of that little emergency. The Valet includes a lint brush, bobby pins, clear nail polish, extra stockings, band-aids, safety pin, hand lotion and a huge assortment for anything that could possibly go wrong.
We have also designed a hospitality box for your out of town guests to have something to nosh on while in their hotel rooms. We can include a personalized welcome book with all the appropriate times for your guests to be at the right place for pictures, davening, meals and sheva brochos. It will include places to eat and visit in your community.
